Like many of the early churches, Jerry and Lori Akers started the Lord's church in their home (Romans 16:5, 1 Corinthians 16:19, Colossians 4:15, etc.). Currently, we assemble here for worship services and fellowship in a spacious, multipurpose "upper room" (Acts 1:13-14).  WOTBC is located just off Highway 47 and Westcott Road in the large shop-like building straight down the gated driveway. The gate will open automatically as you slowly approach. Parking  is in the graveled area around the building. There are two entrances--one on the north side of the building at the end of the covered patio and the other on the south side.

WOTBC has a single extended service every Lord's Day during which we worship the Lord in prayer, singing, giving, and Scripture reading/memorization. The main focus of each worship service is the in-depth teaching/preaching of "the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15) with a strong emphasis on "sound doctrine" (Titus 2:1). The AM worship service is followed by a PM Lunch & Fellowship. The lunch is planned, prepared, and provided by the ladies of the church. This important part of our weekly Sunday gathering provides an opportunity to become better acquainted with one another and cultivates the family relationship that should characterize every "church of the living God" (1 Timothy 3:15).
